Kara Mintle

Kara Mintle has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a special degree in Early Childhood education from Saint Mary's of Notre Dame, IN. She worked as an Archdiocesan & Chicago Public School teacher for 15 years. She currently works for her family's funeral home, Schmaedeke Funeral Home with her parents and her husband Tom.

Kara & her husband Tom moved from Bridgeport to the local community 6 years ago and reside above the funeral home with their 3 young children. All three of their children will be attending St. Alexander School this year. Grace will be entering 2nd grade, Maggie 1st grade and Aidan will be entering pre-school.

Kara & Tom work full time at the Funeral Home; however, they spend their days off volunteering at the school and the parish. Kara is a room mom and also belongs to the Palos Heights Women's Club.
